Now that the province has entered Step 2, we are ready to resume our work at the Marilyn Adams Genealogical Research Centre.
Our operating days and hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and while many of our volunteers will be back we will only be open to the public by appointment to ensure we don’t exceed capacity. (instructions for booking are below).

How to book a research visit appointment
There are many ways to let us know that you’d like to visit our facilities for your own family research.
- Book online. Use the booking form on this website. Select one of the available time slots and we’ll get back to you to confirm the appointment.
- Email us at research@seventhtownresearch.com. Bear in mind that we might not necessarily check emails when we’re closed, so do this at least a week or so in advance.
- Phone us at 613.967.6291. Our pbones are only answered on our open days, so please bear that in mind. If you haven’t made an appointment and would like to drop by, please call first to see if we can accommodate you on short notice.
When planning your visit, give us as much information about your search requirements as possible (names, dates of birth/death/marriage, location) so that we can prepare to make your visit as productive as possible.
