For just $30 a year, your membership includes:

• Digital subscription to our newsletter, Quinte Kin (3 times per year) with exclusive feature articles and updates on our activities. See a sample issue.
• Exclusive advance notice of updates to our online databases (Names and Land Records).
• NEW starting with 2021 memberships, member-only discount of 10% on all book purchases. Visit our bookstore.
• Access to our Members’ surnames interest list (on request).

Seventh Town Historical Society (a registered charity) and the Marilyn Adams Genealogical Research Centre depend on memberships and donations to operate. Help us continue to help family researchers by giving in any of the following ways:

• Become a member. Fill in our membership application.
• Become a volunteer (work at the centre or from home). Contact volunteer@seventhtownresearch.com for more information.
• Provide in-kind business services (for a donation receipt). Contact admin@seventhtownresearch.com for more information.
• One-time donations to our general and trust fund (eligible for charitable donation receipt).

We accept payment by cheque, Interac eTransfer or PayPal (to treasurer@seventhtownresearch.com).

Please note that effective September 1, 2020, our membership fee will increase from $25 to $30 per year.

Memberships received before September 1, will remain at $25 but will only last till the end of the calendar year. Memberships and renewals received from September 1 to December 31 will include the full 2021 calendar year.

$10 of each membership is directed to our Trust Fund.

Beginning July 13, we’ll be open to visiting researchers by appointment only. To book a research appointment, contact our Research Desk at research@seventhtownresearch.com. In order to ensure the safety of our volunteers and visitors, please note the following conditions:

• Please verify with us before your visit that you have not been in contact with anyone who has tested positive (in the past 2 weeks) for COVID-19 and that you are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
• Bring and be prepared to wear a mask while inside the centre.
• While we have computers available for your use, we recommend you bring your own device. Access to our wifi network will be provided.
• Please limit your visit to a few hours.

At our end, we are:

• Disinfecting all surfaces and high-touch equipment (computer keyboards, etc.) before and after each visit.
• Providing hand sanitizer
• Wearing masks ourselves
• Opening for appointments any day of the week, depending on the availability of volunteers.
