Donations and other funding
As a non-profit charity, we rely heavily on donations of time, money and goods in order to fulfill our objectives. Here’s how you can help:
- Join us as a member. Membership fees are tax-deductible and we issue donation receipts each January for all donations received during the year.
- Join us as a volunteer. Your time and expertise go a long way to helping us move our many projects forward. No experience necessary. We’ll show you everything you’ll need to know.
- Buy some books – our online bookstore has a wide array of books on many topics that will help you with your own research.
- Donate – money always helps to offset our operating expenses. You can donate by visiting our page on Canada Helps – it’s easy and you’ll receive a donation receipt immediately for the value of your donation. You can also donate by sending funds via cheque (to Seventh Town Historical Society), Interac e-transfer (in Canada) or Paypal to treasurer@seventhtownresearch.com.
- Donate your research or family history documents. Donated research is the backbone of our library collection – donation receipts are offered for larger collections of materials. Use the contact form below to find our more.
